Director of Schools Bledsoe County School System Mission The mission of the Bledsoe County School System in conjunction with the community is to develop well-rounded individuals who have a solid educational foundation, a strong sense of self-worth, an understanding of cultural diversity, the desire for success in the work force, and the quest for lifelong learning. Our Vision Statement can be read here. Bledsoe County Board of Education The Bledsoe County Board of Education is composed of 7 locally elected members. Annually, the Board elects one of its own to serve as chairperson. Anyone interested in public education in Bledsoe County, Tennessee may attend the regular board meetings which are held the second Monday of each month. The BCBOE is an affiliate of the TSBA (Tennessee School Board Association), the organization and representative agency of members of school boards in the state of Tennessee.
